How To Delete A Particular Web Address In Internet Browser History : Method 2

Last time I told you about a simple method to delete a particular web address from browser history. Well I got an email saying that this method is not working for him please give an alternate solution. Ok, here is a quick another solution to delete a particular web address. As an example I am taking Mozilla Firefox here.

Suppose I have opened any site, lets say Orkut. Now follow the steps below to delete only Orkut links without clearing my history.

Step1) First open Mozilla Firefox and press ctrl+H

Step2) Now in the left hand side panel, in the search bar enter the name of the of site that you want to delete from the history list. Have a look :

Step3) Here you will get the list of pages of the website that you have visited. Just press ctrl+A (select all) and press delete button from your keyboard or right click on the selected links and select delete.

And the selected links will be deleted from the history list. Simple !

While watching any Youtube video sometimes an error comes saying that We're Sorry, This Video Is No Longer Available. Have a look :

Below is a simple solution to overcome this problem :

This error comes when you have installed any download manager to your system. Now if you have installed any download manager, just open it and in the Options go to File Types. File Types includes the list of all the files that download manger handles. Just open it and remove .flv and .mp4 from the list.

Restart your machine and you are done. Now you can easily view all the Youtube vides without any error.

Last time I wrote a post on how to find location, operating system and browser details of anyone on Internet. Today's post of mine is quite similar to it. Now you will ask if the post is same then what is the use of writing the same post again and again !

While Googling today I found an interesting website IP Catcher. Its a free service that is used to track the IP address.

How to use this service :

1) First visit IPCatcher.

2) Now choose a redirect URL and a password and the script will create you a link.

3) Then send this link to anyone you know (online) and the script will record their I.P.

4) Click Login at the bottom of the page to login and view the IP addresses of those who have visited your link. Simple !

How To Repair Network Connection In Windows XP Manually

How To Get Your Rapidshare Account Back If Scammed

This is a very important and a useful post by ShadowSwifter. Hackers always keep an eye on RS accounts, so if your account is scammed here is a working way to get it back.

Note : This post is written by ShadowSwifter and I am just attempting to rewrite it in my own words.

So lets start :

As you get a Rapidshare Account note down all the following details of your account and save it in your computer.

Name*: ...
E-Mail*: ...
Login-ID*: ...
Transaction-ID*: ...
Date of account-creation: ...
Date of payment**: ...

If your account get scammed write an email to support@rapidshare.com telling about all the information of your account. Here is what ShadowSwifter provided for Rapidshare Technical Support to get his accounts back:

1. Account name: Login ID and the aliases you've used
2. Date of creation
3. Date of thievery
4. A copy of the LOGS (where the IPs are recorded) and tell RS which ones are friendly and get them to blacklist the hostile ones (which are most likely ones belonged to the scammer)
5. Email used to create the account
6. All emails that have been applied to the account
7. Make a backup of all the links of the files uploaded to the account (use that extract link option)
He further says that "Rapidshare asked us to give them a few links of uploaded content, I think they use them to track the account so its vital for you to have a clear record of what have been uploaded to your account and what their links are."

8. Tell them the Number of files uploaded and the Total Size of the files uploaded. Simply copy paste the account status on your main menu.
9. Tell them how many points you have got.
10. Take screenshots of Your Main Menu, Your LOGS, Your OPTIONS.

Tips:

Make sure your email is sincere. formal and honest. Don't be aggressive, they reply really fast and they are nice people.
Tell them a good reason why your account MUST be recovered.

Internet Connection Not Working ! What To Do ! Airtel Broadband Users

I use Airtel Broadband Internet Connection and yesterday when I turned my PC on I was not able to connect to Internet. I tried calling Customer Care but they told me to wait for 24 hrs.

Actually I have a bad habit to solve my problems on my own. I reconnected all wires and also used ping but was not successful. After trying a lot I finally found a solution and I thought to share this method with you all.

If you are an Airtel user this post is useful for you. If your Internet connection stops working here is the solution for it.

First call Customer Care and ask if there is any problem in your area. This tutorial is for those who have paid their Internet bill and are not able to access it.

Step1) Make sure all the 4 lights are Green in Modem. If not then re-connect all the wires and also the wire that connects to USB or LAN.

If all the lights go Green then there is a problem in your Modem connection and if not then there is problem with your wires or ISP.

Step2) Now if all the lights are Green on Modem and still you are not able to access Internet just open Internet Browser and in the address bar type 192.168.1.1 and hit Enter

A Window will pop up and enter the following :

Username = user
Password = password

DSL Router will open and we have to make some changes on the Modem settings.

Step3) In the left sidebar click on WAN and a new page will open. Have a look :

Now click on EDIT and keep on clicking Next until you get this screen :

Click on SAVE and then click on Save/Reboot.

When you click on Save/Reboot your Modem will restart and wait until all lights on Modem are Green. Now restart your PC and you will be able to access Internet.
