Find Broken Links On Your Website

When I just started this blog I used to upload files on Freeweb7. The links were working well for about 2-3 months but after that Freeweb7 server went down and I was facing a lot of problem with broken links. Visitors that come from search engines used to complain me about them.

Here is a simple tool called Xenu's Link Sleuth that checks Web sites for broken links. Link verification is done on "normal" links, images, frames, plug-ins, backgrounds, local image maps, style sheets, scripts and java applets. It displays a continously updated list of URLs which you can sort by different criteria. A report can be produced at any time.

If you have a small blog you must run this application once and test for broken links on your blog/site.

How to use it :

1) First download Xenu from here

2) Now install it. After installing it, open it and at the top bar click on File and then select CheckURL.

3) Now enter your blog/site URL, select your desired options and then click on OK. Have a look :

4) After pressing OK, it will automatically tell you about the broken links in your blog/site.

Download Instructions : Click here to download this software from the official website.
