Before start writing this post I feel a need to tell you about Greasemonkey.
Greasemonkey is a Mozilla Firefox extension that allows users to install scripts that make on-the-fly changes to most HTML-based web pages.Greasemonkey can be used for adding new functionality to web pages (for example, scripts for Orkut).(read this post to know all about greasemonkey).
Here are few Greasemonkey Scripts for Youtube. Installing these scripts will increase your Youtube experience. Lets start :
1) Youtube Googler : It is a Greasemonkey script that makes YouTube videos look more like Google Videos. Basically, it puts the comments in a new tab on the sidebar, and expands the video frame to take up as much space as possible, just like Google Video. Click here for installation link.

2) Youtube “Lights Out” : This script is really my favorite one. Just click on the Light Bulb and the background will get lighter and lighter resulting in highlighting only the video. Watching video with this script enabled will really be a great fun. Click here for installation link.
3) Youtube Alternate Video Player : If you want a new look on Youtube this script is best for you. It replaces the Youtube Flash Video Player with FlowPlayer Flash Video Player. Click here for the installation link.
