Disable Shut Down Dialog Box In Windows XP

This is a simple trick with which you can disable Shut Down Dialog Box. I dn't know what's the use of this trick but writing for the sake of knowledge.

Note : This trick includes registry editing and if you are new to computers, do not try this.

Lets Start :

Step1) Go to RUN and type regedit and hit Enter.

This will open Registry Editor.

In the left hand side panel go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Microsoft >> Windows >> CurrentVersion >> Policies >> Explorer

When you will select Explorer, in the right hand side panel you will see alot of entities. Search for NoClose Key.

If it is not there then you have to create one. It's very simple.

Just right click anywhere in the right hand side panel and select New >> String Value. Name the string value as NoClose Key and right click on it and select Modify, in the Value Data Box type 1 and then click OK

Have a look :

That's it ! You have disabled Shut Down dialog box. Now to enable it just go to NoClose Key and set its Value Data to 0.
