There are still many applications/softwares that are incompatible with Windows Vista.As Vista is written in new codes and made with new drivers so many applications are still incompatible with Windows Vista Operating System.
When you run any application that is not compatible with Vista , it gives the following error :
This is due to unavailability of .dll (dynamic link libraries) files.So to overcome this problem you can use the following tutorial.
Right click on the .EXE file and select "Properties" ;
After selecting "properties" go to "Compatibility Tab" >>Make a check on "Run this program in compatiblity mode for" and in the drop down menu select your Operating System.See this screenshot for help...
After you select your desired Operating System just click on Apply>>Ok
And from now onwards you will be able to run any application that is incompatible with Windows Vista Operating System.If you are facing any problem regarding this tutorial feel free to comment .
